Hello, SA国际传媒friends! Here's our for the week on the quality of inpatient meals in select Philippine public hospitals.
A SA国际传媒study that looked into the quality of inpatient meals in select Philippine public hospitals revealed that their nutrition and dietetics services (NDS) generally fail to provide admitted patients with meals having adequate nutrition content. They also cannot comply with the minimum meal allowance budget and cannot adhere to minimum inputs and process standards necessary to provide high-quality nutrition care to inpatients. The study also found issues on human resources, equipment, management functions, and other NDS processes that could affect the quality of nutrition care delivered.
