According to a SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½study, the mid-upper arm circumference—a quick and simple tool for assessing child wasting—is not optimized for Filipino children. Researchers suggest identifying localized cutoffs that will enable medical professionals to detect wasting and accurately plan interventions.
